Oh. I always thought it was 10. Shows how much I ever get on a stone 🤣. Yeah mitchy that's good timing. And like you say allows team mates to adjust to get ready. 👍

"MITCHY"I think 3 seconds is a long enough death time at events such as GVW/SS/WotW. Getting on the stone is designed to give an advantage, three seconds to allow a team mate the chance to hop on is great. As matty points out 26 seconds is too long.


I agree would make the last minute a really exciting time as well.

As it stands now you pretty much can determine when you need to kill the stone holder by to get that lucky chance to walk on the stone with 30 seconds or less to go. For example if I got on at 8:59:45pm the whole of dl could warp to try and we’d still win because I’m there for 30 seconds. Surely taking it to within say a 5 second window from the end would be brilliant for all involved.

Yes, fully agree about a short death period. That time exists to allow a guild to organise what to do after the death, but it's too long.

Although hsoma have a higher number of people at GVWs, it's almost worse in dsoma because since devils have upgraded weps and armour only axers can tank the stone for more than 10 seconds - when an axer doesnt get on it's just a final 2 mins of chain walking on, death within 5 seconds, walking on, death...and it all comes down to RNG.

Devil GVW is meant to be a test to find the best guild (strongest, most numbers, best tactics, best gear whatever), but unless one guild has a massive numbers advantage it's just an RNG/luck-based event very often. A shorter death period would lead to a fairer outcome, I feel. Although we might get lots of walk-on-death it would at least cycle through people to the point where the fight for surrounding hexes becomes tactical and team-based.

Now that the tactic is out I'm sure that people will prevent it next time.

However, it isn't quite as intended so I did forward the issue so a decision could be made. That being said, I don't care much about it right now. I'd rather change the death timer. However, all in good time.

Just have a stone counter for the full duration of gv/wow (like ss) who ever is on stone the longest wins, with free pots I don’t see the problem. This gives a full 1 hour of action.

What isn't working as intended about it? I have no dog in this fight so I'm not trying to argue or anything, I'm just interested in devil GVW and am curious about rules/mechanics of the event.

GV owners have control of that hut until someone takes it from them at 9:00:00 GMT, so they have the right to log in and out there. So logging in in your own GV house isn't wrong, surely. Then I can see a VK person instantly attacking them when they do log in so theres no bug that makes them inactive targets or invisible.

To me it just looks like a clever tactic - make it look like you have low numbers and then all jump online at the end at the important location. The only issue here is that one guild was naive enough to think that the owners of GV might not log off in the hut that they own.

I like this idea a lot. Also thought maybe a stone that takes damage and the guild who can do the most are the winners - hence theres a fight to block melee spaces and to kill more than just 1 person on a stone to win, and removes the RNG factor of who gets on - a true test of guild power. Or the 3 stone SS idea that counts pos and allows guilds to have multiple fights and tactics.

I do think that making it abit varied would be good. As it stands people are comfortably being able to use two clients at GVW which was proved last night with the comments about not being able to see certain people.
Obviously if you own more than one char there is nothing stopping you using it but imo you should need a certain level of attention at events not just alt tab one char off casting zombie and then potting between two chars.

The problem with a stone timer like ss is that no smaller guilds will get a chance to win, atm anyone who can jump on at end can win

I do agree that death timer needs maxing at 5 seconds

Wtf why werent they defending stone with one min left to go?

g2 admit theres some nice coordination involved. But doubt this tactic will ever work again.

What bug are ppl talking about exactly, can clearly see one of them get instantly attacked when he logged in, cant have been invisible?

Surely more pressing things warrant gm time, than vk getting rused out of a gvw
