With the new patch out will old chars be kinda pointless????

Say if a human has 171 str and 100 dex is there any point in plowing bow to try and get more or the gap to large to gaine?

What could be wrong with having 171 str and 100 dex?

it was answered , tho cant find the thread atm, sposly dex will work separate to str , so no longer be slow if your str is 10+ higher than dex

Because most ppl did that to start with then made a 2nd char with 130+ dex meaning old chars struggle to hit them, at cap rise they can carry on getting fast dex while the 100s dex chars can not due to dex to str gap at least I think that's the deal

As far as im aware..having 171 str and 100 dex wont slow ur dex down after the patch.There are no bonuses..and stats are basically fixed...so....not exact figures...but say at lev 101 ..u can gain 3.0 dex in 100% with bow .... whether u are are 171 str or 131 str .. u will still gain that 3.0 dex in 100%. Has to be like that or all the ppl with maxed str would gain little or no dex.
There are posts somewhere detailing all the proposed stuff...no idea where tho..but im pretty sure this is correct.

Does that go for all lvls or just above 100? About no star bonus?

i always thought long as dex isnt like 30/40 behind your str it should be fine but not 100% sure on this tho

i just outlined what info i think i rember... why would i be worried

New mobs are made in such a way that going there before BLG str cap will have no advantage.

The same can be said for DEX. It will go up as it should without the use of bonusses or whatnot.

Stats will not be "fixed" after 100. But the server will recognise the amount of str or dex you have, not the amount in comparison to the mob you're hunting. What that means is, there will be no super chars, or stat bonuses for going to a new mob early.

It also means if you made a shit first gen char you will not be penalised for it now.

Shit first gen char haha made me laugh... still will be penalised in the sense of not having hunted 50+ mobs but yea there’s no gain to going new mobs early, like you do with 50+ gains... so yea up to lvl 100 (blg/nightmare cap) all is the same, hunt 50+ for stat bonus etc but after that new mobs are the same wether you go at 172 str or 150.

Are you able to gain stats off the new mobs pre level 100 ?
