I've been toying with the idea of a dulled down craft system to promote differentiation throughout classes and similar levels. Something that would arguably give dsoma an alternate appropach and dynamicness to a very much linear pve/pvp lifecycle.
You play the victim by your negativity and pessimism "oh no i didn'get agreed with so it's the end of the world" approach. People wonder why I don't reply to every single idea and even if I had the time to do so this is a prime example of why I shouldn't.

The last tier weapons on DSoma drop from more than a handful of mobs (one boss and quite a few mobs). This is quite comparable to LB tier weapons which drop from about 5 bosses and one mob.
If anything I would consider asking for WBM/BLG in conti both worlds with a drop change of 1 on top end weapons. Other than that I'm not going to touch in this subject here. It's a shame we don't have Pamoth tier weapons but it's one of the last things we need currently.

"VEX""You play the victim by your negativity and pessimism "oh no i didn'get agreed with so it's the end of the world" approach. " Let's Compare how one gets an Apus bow and a Grim bow. Hwan Cyclopes are good to hunt near 100 dex, especially as an archer. Conti Altered Beasts are hunted while a char is in the early stages of that weapon. Conti Minotaurs are practically an alternative to AB At Kharil Lizards you shoud already be bored with your weapon since you've had it for ages. Hmm, they don't drop off Shironim. On the bright side though Grim Crossbow has nearly the same drop file but as a bonus also drops from Shironim, Kolvar and Kelvar and one of the Hwan brothers. Apus: Leiver beast (conti) - Nowadays you start to hunt them before you can use Apus bow, but can still be there when you can use one. Devil Lizardman - Do they even spawn without a GM command? Apus - Not as good as an alternative as let's say minotaurs or Cyclops because of their range and 'lack' of eva. Elite Lizardman / Drazil - Same tier as our KL Rebel Guard - Glad it was introduced. As said before I'm working together with S0rcerer and other members of the community to make a wholesome file (for both worlds by the way) to touch on issues like this. However, that doesn't mean I'm for simply chucking in the weapon drops and leaving it at that. Why would I when I have the oppertunity to bring in ideas for a crafting system?

"VEX"Dont know how human soma was anything to do with my point , so it is fine for the weps to drops of easier mobs ? but just not on top tier mobs with 8k hp I think it's very important to compare the human world with the devil world, on many fields. Especially the 'easiness' in drops should be compared and things like our items not losing any dura on repair or no potential loss due to upgrading should be taken into account when designing drop rates and drops. The main issue in this thread, as I see it, is the lack of motivation to hunt WBM. This is because they don't drop anything special in the eyes of the players. Adding weapons would be the most simple option, but far from the most preferred option in my eyes. The issue is known now and we are looking into ideas.

But your missing what i am saying these weps like you said yourself already drop from multiple lower mobs , so i fail to see what problem lies in adding them to the hardest hunting mob .

As a long time WBM hunter I can honestly say that the drop file in my opinion does need looking at as I've said in posts before because a couple items do not reflect the difficulty of an end game mob with 8k hp.
Close helms have to go, there's no reason why an end have mob should be dropping a 45 str helm especially when they also drop devil helms which are 58 str. Another item which makes no sense to me are male supreme boots, an 84 str set of boots is worthless to anyone hunting wbm and to top it off it's actually the only supreme part that drops from the mobs so why is it there exactly Now I'm not saying just throw weapons on the drop file because BLG don't drop weapons either but if you compare the drop lists on the armory 8/10 BLG drops are upgrade items compared to 8 items WBM drop 2 of which in my opinion are worthless to anyone hunting the mob.

"CARNAGE"As a long time wbm hunter I can honestly say that the drop file in my opinion does need looking at as I've said in posts before because a couple items do not reflect the difficulty of an end game mob with 8k hp. The answer to that question is simple if you know the reason WBM were made. WBM were never designed to be a monster that you hunt for stats - The fact that they weren't quite hard enough to be bosses and % was fast enough to level on, appealed to top-end Esoma devils wanting to break away from the boredom of GF in dungeon. The original WBM dropfile consisted of Devil Friend, Devil Health, Swifthand, Soul Shield, Mind Aid and Supreme Boots (m). The dropfile is nigh identical to all of the Hwan Brothers & Psionic guards. Once people started to hunt them, Slither added Close Helms, Devil Helms and Diab Hats (and subsequently removed Mind aid and Soul Sield), as on Esoma these were gold dust. It's easy to see that they were never intended to be a leveling monster by looking at its stats. At the time of WBM being introduced, BLG didn't exist, Kharil Golems (now Kharil Lizards) didn't exist, the top Hsoma monsters were Apus and the top Dsoma monster was Gargoyle Fighter. Just see the absolute enormous gap between them - GF have 138str, Apus 127str and WBM 185. As WBM became a hunting monster, Hsoma required a new top tier monster in the form of BLG, which still has 40 less STR and are closer linked to Kharil Golems (now Kharil Lizards). Dsoma does need monsters with higher stats, seeing as they have no opportunity to diversify. Mages on both worlds have monsters that are nigh-identical, resulting in a much smaller difference in power - but Melees are literally worlds apart. I realise I'm derailing the thread, but I see Dan and Ian have already commented on this - thought I'd shed light onto the monster itself. The current top-tier monster should really be Kharil Lizard until Hsoma has a Melee mob with about 160str. Same goes for Magic monsters on both races, I wish Slither was able to pass us his final Database, though if memory serves right Sekhmets had 166int, Fallen Seraphim had closer to 185 (used light arrow to ensure their MA wasn't god-like vs. DMage's low wisdom). I'll save the rest of my blabbering for the info i'll pass on to Ghostlord.
