Are the new caps out for public information yet, or is it a case of just wait until tomorrow?
Trying to figure out if it’s worth capping str and int and leaving dex where it is as I have such a large gap between them now (110.5 dex and 171str, meaning it’ll be hard to try and get any more)

Pretty sure they changed Dex so everyone can gain the same

Indont sorry. I just remember reading it in the discussion. I'm pretty sure itbwont matter on your dex-str gap as they won't be linked after 100. Hopefully someone can confirm

Nah weapon choice still determines stats.
Went there earlier with an axe and did 0.4 str. No dex gains. So looks like people are goign to have to pick up bows again |

Ofcourse you can, it's people's choice to not go bow. Or to go bow, I wouldn't expect axe str from using bow, so don't expect dex from axe lol

We have to do bow before any other weapon, because if we do STR first with axe and we have for example, something crazy like 100 STR 40 DEX, it would mean that DEX would go super slow when we pick up a bow because DEX gains are based on STR. As I understand it, if you don't do bow first and get your DEX first, then you'll really mess up stat gains in the future. So unless you do bow, your stats will get messed up. I really hoped that the new patch would mean that I could do DEX anytime.

I see what you're saying but you've missed an important detail.

I think what djb meant to say was dex gains are now less dependant on your str in that stat gain has reverted to the original system(?) where you don't have keep to dex and str within 10 or 15 of each other because many a capped player had huge str / dex gaps. Some of the pro might want to correct this though but that is the general idea i think. Pure axe was never an option though..realistically, Are you saying we can do STR first and get DEX last now? Did the system change so DEX is not based on STR?
