On a similar line to "Drifting Vendor" but somewhat different .....
An NPC wandering around (in a small circle) in TYT (and the Dsoma equivalent) that offers "unknown" trades. Perhaps you could spend different levels of Barr or trade items for something in return. The "purchased item" would be luck of the draw (like an weapon cache is when you click it open) and could be anything from a piece of leocrot meat to an intense weapon. The onus would be on the "Rogue Vendor" giving the player rubbish (he's a rogue after all) but there would be a "chance" of something decent. Potentially done in tiers or "Like for like" (trade a tablet and get a tablet). "House" should win, say, 95% of the time. Just a thought. 8) Jac
