highlight text with SHIFT+left arrow, ctrl+c. then ctrl+v to paste

Highlight the text using the mouse or by holding shift and using the cursor keys.
Then use the mouse to copy and paste (assuming you know this ^^) or...ctrl+c = copy ctrl+v = paste. If you want to copy everything inside a box or folder, then click in the box and use ctrl+a to highlight all then it's ready to copy.
