Shopping Mall
This is a progressive idea and could start off very small (and lead to infinity…..) A row of NPC shopkeepers (start with, say, 1) that will trade items for other items of the same genre. For instance, a gem dealer that will sell you, say, a ToW. However, the price of the item will be double the cost but using a different item of the same genre – say, for instance, 2 x CTs. (Allowances can be made to take account of desirability too). The idea is that you would be able to purchase something you need in exchange for something you perhaps don’t need. By having the trade cost VERY high there would be no pecuniary advantage and it would also not affect normal trading between players. NPCs can be added for almost anything on this basis in Hsoma and Dsoma. Perhaps also a candidate for the (proposed) Project Donation Pot? As always, just a thought. 8) Jac

Don't like the idea. Feel this would ruin the economy of the game. Trading of items should be kept between players unless the UC was to drastically increase below 20.
