Ok i dont want this to sound like a moan thread...
I work 9-6 monday-friday an i accept i miss alot of bosses and that doesnt bother me. to make up for it most events are on the weekend so i still get to attend my fair share of bosses. When i finish work an check the player feed its a bit disheartening to see events have happened during the "working week" i understand that the GM's dont know when there be online but you could maybe have an "event thread" posting the time of the next event and try and keep the majority to weekends? (If people know in advance, more likely to have a higher turnout to events which, in turn makes the server look good) Hard enough working all week an feeling miles behind in stats compared to the unemployed to see them getting events which are going be only attended by the select people who dont work an average week (9-5) I'd rather you don't reply based on the fact im in EQ which seems to be the new craze, but on the points suggested Cheers gandalf

I think you will find just as many people working or unable to attend weekend events as they do weekday ones tbh.

what about the people that work evenings or weekends?
I for one have missed numerous events on a weekend due to not being able to play with having my son on weekends events etc are not going to be on everyones timescale you just got to be lucky of being online when gms find the time to host such events. im against set events as it just means more people and less chance of loot for other players. for example if an event was scheduled for Monday night 8pm and for some reason isylver couldn't make it it wouldn't go down well for a lot of people and would surely be dissapointing

I don't think iSylver knows even an hour before an even if he's doing one. Maybe he'll feel motivated after a great GVW or WoW. Or maybe he has a few minutes spare. It's all random, though going from all the events I've seen so far youre biggest chance of seeing an event are mainly weekend afternoon and early evening weekdays. Events also slightly increase the possibility of an event.

Personally, I like it when events are random and especially when they are a follow-up to an exceptionally good gvw or something. Scheduling them will just result in ridiculous amounts of competition for bosses which have a melee space cap as it is.
Todays event was particularly nice because of simultaneously spawned bosses in different maps; with announcements (which was really cool ^^). The high levels rushed for the high level bosses, and the low levels got grath/KK/terrasque etc I think events in future should follow this model, where you have to make a choice; "Am i going vod for Pammy/shiro? or do I need to stay tyt for more kovlar or try grab a soul boss for my rings". It's nice to see low/mid levels have a real chance at some bosses at least. Which is why lower spawn timers on bosses (with proportionally lower drops) would be a nice implementation,

Today was a good event because it made players decide which bosses to go to and I actually liked that idea.

"CARNAGE"Today was a good event because it made players decide which bosses to go to and I actually liked that idea. And it worked well: DENZEL slayed GRATH THE WEREWOLF WACEK slayed KING KOBOLD For Hsoma The top levels ran to VOD to find Shiro/Pammy giving the lower levels a good chance on GtW/KK.

"ORANGE""CARNAGE"Today was a good event because it made players decide which bosses to go to and I actually liked that idea. The only problem being is that Terra was killed and dropped plate pads, untagged. At least make the lower level bosses drop worthwhile weapons/armour for the area that they are, epic gold/blood helm, lower level weapons with rare+ tags? Epic gold/blood top, pads and boots aren't rare but the helms are and the weapons would help the lower levels out much more and make them worth while killing
