So,
I am stood at the anvil with the disassemble skill, a disassemble guide and a bag full of armour to pull to pieces. When I click the button on the anvil and chuck in a pair of pads ....all I get is a message saying "you don't need anything" (or similar). How do you actually disassemble and is it worth doing? 8) Jac

the materials gained from disassembling are not of that good a quality.
if i remember right they were around mid tier grade. iron being lowest and red plate being highest at the time. does not include the new mag materials as they are alot higher. altho i dont think metal is much higher that red plate

"FRINGE"the materials gained from disassembling are not of that good a quality. Not quite the disassemble mats are as good def/att wise as top mats excluding the new mag mats however they do not get dura bonus so they can be unpopular for that reason.

"JACKELPUP"So, Yeah it can be worth especially if you disassemble training weps which cost 0 so its only 50 barr a try for rock. Very time consuming coz of 40 bag limit and running too and from blacksmith. If barr does not matter buy conti npc weps to break apart for higher amounts. You will be able to high roll good att weps or def armor but the dura will not go past base. I remember making 14-22 untagged silver bows regularly with like 50-70 skill. A thing to note is the amount of materials it takes to craft an item decides how many you can get back, should the recipe require 1 mat it can succeed but offer you 0 as you cannot gain the max it took to make from a disassemble. You can isolate the material you want by choosing a recipe that only uses what you need.
