could we get a little tweak to magma beasts now please since these havnt been looked at since update

tbf i don't think magma beast are to bad themselves, the magic dmg is a little high, but at close range can deal with this. (needs looking at so mages can hunt these tho)

the problem comes when u having to deal with magus, and u have to move towards the magus which opens you up to the onslaught of magma beasts magic (melee class's)

could magus hp/def be lowered so can swop to fiend bow and kill (not exactly possible atm, takes to long magma beast hp would be full again)

or

change there heal spell to range 1 to bring them in closer to the magma beast (probly a better option, as if u reduce hp/def then archers would probly 1 shot them)

as for whelps, i still think its a little unfair having to keep swoping to bow, but can deal with this if had a little bit more time to react

could they be made to walk, or reduce there aggression range down, or is it possible to keep them inplace when they cast giggle for a few more seconds

Magma beast and magus are to high md to kill them.

with out getting into drop rates

seems human mages have a easyer time hunting, tho a lot of human melee have brought this issue up also, as they seem to struggle like melee devils do

consecutive 5th + unable to change weops for range to kill whelp = alot of resi scrolls

Pod costs focus on a human mage, and mages cba chew through them.

As a melee player I struggle, especially vs chain stones at int range and whelps added ect.

But there is something you are missing that these are the endgame mob, they shouldn’t be easy. They should be hard.

Dsoma magma had their md and ma lowered

Tested these last night with mage, where as the dmg they deal is ok, the dmg a mage does to them with weaken on is still to little

Respeced my spear to max wis, and still take quite a beating (tho could do with another respec cos I havnt given myself enough dex for mags)

Ignoring whelps, the healers are my main issue, I have to move to magma beast range and get magic dmg to kill the healers, could the magus heal spell be made range 1 so that I'm still within magma beast range 1

For the magus, in hsoma we lure them out for the most part. It takes time and they can creep back but if you will be there for a while it's worth taking the time
