Hi Guys and Girls,
I'm sure we've all noticed a bit of a lull in population since new year, but it seems to me that DSoma might be feeling it more than HSoma since the Devil population has always been so much lower than Human, so I'm calling on all you people that might have a hit a bit of a motivational brick wall, feel like you just blend into a sea of mid-level humans, or just fancy a change of scenery to consider rolling Devil and start flying through levels and crushing skulls ;) I personally think it would be good to see an influx of new up-and-comers to join the ranks in the various guilds (including Sinister, of course :P) and reignite the competition and rivalries that DSoma has always been famous for. I think some of you would be pleasantly surprised how quickly you can catch up, get a name for yourself (in whichever way you like), have an impact on the community, and start making a difference to the outcome of wars. Hopefully see you in game ^^ Cheers, Hojo.

My 3 character slots are all taken up.
If they increased warehouse space, I would prob play a devil. |

"OPENTHEDOOR"My 3 character slots are all taken up. You could always make a new account for your Devil ;P Warehouse space might seem like an issue at the start with all the various mats for early armour sets, etc, but existing players might be able to help you through that part with special gems, and then later on it really isn't a concern :)

Anyone know where there is a guide for DSOMA? I did make a char, I couldn't even find the first quest NPC!
I saw that there is one with the list of mobs to hunt, would be nice to know where they are! :) |

As far as I'm aware Usercount hasn't dropped for a long while. during events it's still often 250+. I think a lot have migrated over to Hsoma as Dsoma gets quite boring after level 40.

I know there is a link to the old some manual pdf somewhere on the forum which has maps of all the zones showing where the mobs are, but it might take some trawling to find so you might be just as well googling it. You think so? o.O I would say around lvl 40 is where it starts to pick up; you're at ABs which is easy mode fast levelling, plenty of auras, weapons and armours still to aim for. I'm still ridiculously entertained well beyond that point too. I enjoy being able to plan out targets and on DSoma you can go after them single-mindedly because there aren't things to dilute your time like crafting, training int, and switching between 2 weapons to balance stats, etc. Setting goals and smashing them in spurs me on, but that might just be me ;)

why lvl when you cant do dmg in 2 of the 3 events? atleast a human around 50 can actually do something. But hope it picks up again last GVW was really sad.

Never get a job in sales ;P A lot of the fun in soma is down to the community, the rivalries, and ultimately WotW. I know what you mean with the % getting a bit out of hand now, but saying "at least a lvl 50 human can do something" is a bit of a moot point if there are going to be no devils to "do something" against. When the guns are out it gets crazy at GVW; with people dropping as quickly as they do it could can be anybody's stone in the last minutes, so I'm just trying to rally a bit more interest so we can get back to the level of activity that facilitates a good GVW ^^

Try and start your own campaign by recruiting your guild to come to gvw's hojo - your guild are all fairly high levels?

"FURIOUS"Try and start your own campaign by recruiting your guild to come to gvw's hojo - your guild are all fairly high levels? The lull in activity has hit us too mate :/ I'm online for it each week pretty much but a lot of our big guns have eased off recently, so without a decent group for support it just isn't worth the pots; hence the recruitment drive. Don't worry, I will be taking my village back soon ;) P.S. That's cute, Isharie. It's very kind of you to offer me your PoS like that haha ;P

Dsoma has some things coming in the next update to hopefully make it less linear. Stay tuned.

"ISYLVER"Dsoma has some things coming in the next update to hopefully make it less linear. Stay tuned. Ooo, I'm intrigued. But to be honest, I don't mind how it is now. Yeah, it's grindy but the whole game is like that really. And as someone said, it allows you to focus more on getting those levels and gains. New stuff is always good though! =D
