Would it be possible to remove the chance for a Special Repair to fail to repair the item?
It would seem a lot of people i speak to say this has never happened to them, however I've had it happen 4 times now and i know 100% sure i had the SR and it was not used, It states the attempt to repair the item has failed and uses the SR.

Are you by any chance trying to repair an item you don’t have the required skill in?

You need 100 in the item type you want to sr. This means if its in weop you can only sr weops.
In order to sr other types you need a minimum of 70 skill in each This is speaking from someone who also has never seen sr fail If it is failing its not a suggestion. It is a bug

100% positive, my char has nearly 150 wep 70 arm, 70 access,
It does mention it mickyc's guide that SR can "Rarely" fail to successfully repair the item but will never break the item. It just seems bizarre to have a % chance of complete failure when people put so much time into getting SR's If a GM could clarify for me that i'm not going insane that would be great!

SR can and does fail - I've even had two in row fail :'(

only happens rarely if you try to sr your own item. doesnt fail when repairing using window.

Heads up, This has happened for me both when repairing my own items and repairing others, the user traded me a herb in the window, and when pressing repair it closes the window and says it has failed and the buyer kept the herb and the sr gets used

I suspect that this is just a part of the game - annoying when it happens - but at least it doesn't break the item or steal your dura!!
