There are some ridiculously long winded quests in game that i doubt hardly anyone will ever do because the requirement is just insane for the small reward.....
Bitter Blue Monday - Slay 2k Drazils for one rare - intense bitter bone armour Finding the King Kobold - Slay it, 1 medium jade, which is useless can this be changed? Kill 1000 Elite Lizardmen - 1k liz for rare-intense bitter bone armour Beasts of a feather - Kill 4k LB for rare - intense bone pads War,what is it good for? - kill 2k war beasts for rare - intense bone boots Better Call Seol - Kill 4k bone golems for rare-intense bone helm Whores or hoardes - kill 8k hoarde shanis for 1 nahwans blood Trollolol - Kill 7K trolls for 3 frogs Undead Cull - Kill 6k wraiths for a epic nightmare hat Personally i think for the amount you need to kill and the rewards i doubt anyone will be doing these quests which is a shame. I don't know what other people's opinions are but as a near capped player lvl 110 even when i'm capped it wouldn't be worth my time for those rewards. Could we please look at changing rewards/ requirements of how many mobs to kill it would be a waste for the GM'S to have put this much effort into creating a quest if nobody will ever do these.... Most of these quests are for high levels who would not normally hunt trolls or war beats etc... Am open to hear what other people's views on these are....

These quests were put ingame before magmas were introduced, which now makes them pointless with the drop rate of magmas. Tbh I still feel magmas should never have been introduced.

The boss quests and the one where you need to get some devil armour (being a human) need looking at, seeing as most of them are restricted to high levels or camped. I remember getting them really early on in the game!
And a jade for the Kobold, not sure. The rest are a good encouragement to mix the levelling path up tho (if you aren't following the stat bonus's)

Some of the quests i mentioned are lvl 100 - For anyone who wants the best char stats will be hunting +50 mobs will never kill bone golems or war beasts etc lo (for lvl 100). To me anyway they just seem pointless which is shame (Isylver) told me himself that the GM'S do not play soma partially due to not wanting to be bias so perhaps if anyone else feels the same way he could change the mobs to be hunted/ rewards rather than say only 1% of the hsoma community doing these quests.

Agree to an extent. For stuff that you require to free mode doesn't appeal to me anymore on this character, unless the reward is worth it. However, there are a lot of players who aren't bothered about the 50+, including my other characters.

Agree to an extent. For stuff that you require to free mode doesn't appeal to me anymore on this character, unless the reward is worth it. However, there are a lot of players who aren't bothered about the 50+, including my other characters.

some of us do not have access to a lot of capped / high level chars to be able to hunt 50+ str mobs so bone golomes are a good mob imo

With all due respect Celts I think what deamond is trying say is that quests should be be rewarding for the amount of effort you put into it. He is wanting to improve the game experiance and I think improving quests is a good idea.
Yes some quests you can do while you hunting the normal mobs and there are some nice rewarding quests too and that's great but some of the quests the reward is not worth the time you have to put in and that's what needs rethinking. Lets take some examples Lvl 88 - Greed for Jeed - 2000 Elite Lizardmen = Reward 1 x Epic Shadow Armor You will have been in bone armor for a long time and will need to be to hunt these mobs it just doesn't make sense? lvl 79 - An arrow to the knee - 2000 Apus = Reward 1 x Rare-Intense Tier 4 Wep Bof etc.. The time you will be hunting these you will be at least at tier 3 wep e.g Apus Bow. I'm sure there are even more examples but you get the point.

I think you are all missing the point. These quests have been around a long time. Back to when tagged bone was rare and people upgraded non tag bone. It’s just the way it is.
Hardly the biggest thing to moan about or ask to be fixed. Just ignore them. |

I am doing the Apus quest right now (last two days) in freemode. The only reason I am doing it (really) is I saw 2 x nahwans drop from Apus while I was down at the VoD BLGs (lucky buggers who got them).
Naturally I immediately suffered FOMO so began killing them myself. No nahwans for me but I did get a hardened Apus bow and some pots. 8) Jac
