I'm sure there's plenty of players with physical/mental health issues .. or addictions.. or just a bit of depression..or general pissed off.ness playing this game.. Who knows..even a few '' normal people '' play too.. Try rember the gms probably aren't consultant psychiatrists at Guys Hospital .. or mental health specialists.
Don't burden the gm's with all this stuff imo. If you have a genuine game issue..send it to ghost with ur screenies etc.... Seems to becoming more like a sad persons confessional or a snowflake convention. Keep it real guys..man up a bit. Its a game. Dont expect the gm's to be health professionals. If u got health issues..take them to ur doctors .. Not to the Soma forums. U shud kno by now... Sympathy probably wont be forthcoming. Lets keep the forums for a bit of proper guild or pvp banter or game issues.. No need for nastiness from any1. Peace x

Personally I felt like the recent sharing of peoples problems is largely a good thing. I personally realised there are many people just like me or worse. Ive found respect for many aswell in which I would have been quick to judge before.

Its good to talk.. bottling up shit is never healthy... its surprising how open and honest people are in the soma community regarding mental health even though 1/3 of the community are A$$holes who feed of other peoples misfortune..

It's good to talk with real ppl, friends etc or professionals....However.. painting a big target on ur back and walking thro a schoolyard of nasty , drunken, off their face kids with guns...is asking for trouble!!
And dan/ghost are the ''teachers'' that have to mop up the resulting carnage

I don’t really have any dealings with issues being talked about lately. But troubles I do have in live I feel far more comfortable talking to someone I’ve met through soma about them than I have done with family/friends/girlfriend.
Having that non judgemental person to listen to you and advise where they can is extremely helpful. Remember these are people you aren’t likely to meet in life and somehow that makes it so much easier. All I would say is, choose who you talk to wisely and don’t make it public unless it’s something you’ve conquered.

Totally agree becareful who you talk to, or confide in or it might end up being laughed at and discussed on the latest podcast.
