It's one thing to suggest ... oh hey we need to improve our bug control... lets make it spawn to town every 10mins or something so that afkers don't have an advantage. It is another thing to name and shame people, pm GM to ban people, recording and basically trolling them.
This post has been added at this time for the greed of some people who want to take advantage of bugs/essence and even then nothing an afk player can do to stop you. Blocking door is stupid and requires few day ban as a warning but if you can record them it means you got in and you just have nothing better to do with yourself.

I generally don’t see a problem with any of this. It takes about 3 mins to check every building in TYT, buy a few g birds and simply kill all the bugs, not only do the afk people get no stats from it, they are wasting their time. Surely that’s a good enough punishment?

Zero1, Whilst we're doing that, why don't we just discuss it rather than shooting everyone down. There's clearly more people considering this as an issue, rather than a non-issue.
My on-topic issue is that I don't want to have to buy a g-bird feather to get into a hut (that is supposed to be accessible). The issue is selfish people deliberately blocking people from using them, when they are supposed to be for everyone .... unless this game is designed for people to exploit and afk all day, and limiting spawn times? The off-topic issue is when someone reports something, it should end there and shouldn't have a ban demanded from it when the GMs are not seen to be doing anything on face value. The information from the report is for the GMs to decide... no need to kick off about it, there's more constructive ways of addressing an issue than banning people - hence a "discussion"

tbf... it aint a huge prob... and mostly team china doin it..who proly dont kno it aint cricket kinda thing...
becomes a bit of a problem now for some players trying to reskill their weps and looking for essences....so the bugs can get a bit thin on the ground .. possibly another spawn of them in merc..plenty of space there ...and afking wont be possible without threat of bein pkd Could even make another spawn the only 1s that drop essences...... so genuine ess hunters cant go afk and relax in saftey of town

I just didn't like the name and shame situation - you will probably have great new players who get name and shamed and just have a bad start to the game. I am with total agreement that blocking a room should be reported to the GM as it is annoying.
