A friend of mine has just lvld and instead of gaining 8hp that she was expecting she lost 2. Was lvl 22 now 23, 16.2 con, was 179hp now 177 and has 37.5 str gaining 1.7 over her last lvl. Any ideas what went wrong?

HP is calculated, so it shouldn't go down unless stats were lost.

Exactly my point. Correction though she was expecting 6 hp on lvl up not 8. All other details are correct.

Edit: Ok going back through her gains record I think I have found the problem. It seems that on lvl up from 20 to 21 she gained 18 hp, so my guess is that the loss she experienced @ lvl 23 is a compensation for that. However it does raise a few questions with me still, firstly I see nothing unusual about the stats she gained the lvl before she got the big hp increase, so why did it happen? Secondly, why wasnt it corrected when she hit lvl 22? Does the calculation not run after each lvl? Could you please tell us what the hp calc is so we can keep track of things for peace of mind? Im not smart enough to reverse engineer the maths...
