I don't believe many people, if anybody, actually feels like that - it is just virtue signalling.
If you're so off-put by an argument in WC you don't even have to bother reading you're most likely taking it a lot more seriously than the people arguing. |

I can't stand seeing it either, like Fringe says, if you want to argue use the PM function. I tried turning off world chat. It has no effect, seems to be broken unless it's recently been fixed. Has it?

Though iirc none of the current chat filters actually persist (they get reset when running the client again).
