Hey guys,
I'm trying to use dual window but nothing that others have suggested works. I tried the ways mentioned in previous forum posts but it just gives errors, saying the client is running an older version. Has it been made impossible to dual window now, since it doesn't seem to want to run without the launcher regardless?

Sounds like either you've tried updating a second launcher while first is logged in or the shortcuts your opening are to the same launcher.
Go into your soma folders and delete the Game.ver file in each and try rerun the launchers one at a time then close them after each of them updates, dont be logged in to the first account when you run the second launcher to update. Make sure your using a Somawindow.exe shortcut when ur trying to run your second client and that two shortcuts on your desktop arn't going to the same target(file). If the second client still wont work, delete the extra soma folders and shortcuts on desktop you have and start from scratch following this guide: Download the Myth of Soma client from the website if you don't have it already Find where your original myth of soma folder is Copy that folder and Paste it next to it, should have" -copy" at the end of name for the second folder Go into the 2nd folder(the copy) Right click on SomaWindow.exe and create a shortcut Drag that shortcut to desktop Right click, then go to properties Where it says Target:"C:\Myth of Soma - Copy\SomaWindow.exe" or something similar, change it so the ip address 192.99.150.23 is at the end with a space after the speechmark, my example would look like: "C:\Myth of Soma - Copy\SomaWindow.exe" 192.99.150.23 Go to the compatability tab at the top click it and tick the Reduced colour mode option half way down Select 16bit colour in the drop down menu Click Apply at the bottom and OK to close Go into your original soma folder, run the SomaDevLauncher.exe (not SomaDevLauncherUpdate.exe) Let it update if it has to, DONT CLICK PLAY When done, close the launcher down Go into your copied soma folder (the 2nd soma folder) Run SomaDevLauncher.exe (not SomaDevLauncherUpdate.exe) Let that update if it has to, DONT CLICK PLAY When done, close the launcher down Re-open your first soma client launcher, either by going into the 1st folder or clicking the original soma shortcuton the desktop Tick windowed mode, click Play and log in to your first account Click the 2nd soma client shortcut, the one you made and changed on the desktop which should load straight to the login screen with no launcher Log into second account Move the two windows how you see fit and enjoy :) ***Both folders must be kept updated by running the launchers in both folders when there is an update*** ***Never run the second launcher to update while you are logged into the first as it messes up the version*** In the event this happens, go into whichever soma folder is affected and not updating or logging in, delete the game.ver file and run the soma launcher again
