Does wearing str rings cause you to gain less stats per %?
Or does it not conclude in the table and the % stays the same gain as you would without the rings equipped? Cheers |

It doesn’t affect your gains. It simply makes it quicker :)

I think wearing 50 Str rings would give you a fraction more.
This is my reasoning... I remember a post about character building a while ago and apparently the last hit on a mob that kills it gives a slightly higher bonus, i.e. the perfect build would be to take a mob down to a last hit on your main and then have your super noob hit the mob only once to kill it. That would be going to extreme lengths though. So...With Str. rings takes 7 hits to die made up of 6x and 1y (y being the slightly higher bonus gain). Without Str. rings takes 8 hits for the mob to die, meaning 7x and 1y. Your basically getting a higher bonus every 7 shots instead of every 8 in the example used. I'm sure others will confirm this either way about the last hit etc., but that's how I see it. †BTVS™ © ®

"BUFFY"I think wearing 50 Str rings would give you a fraction more. The last hit thing is true, however wearing str rings doesnt guarantee more stats from last hit. you basically want to be hitting the mob as much damage as you can on the last hit. So if you are using str rings for instance and you are 7 hitting a mob instead of 8 hitting it. If you are leaving the mob on 1 hp for your last hit wearing rings then you will only get a low amount of bonus stats. Whereas if without rings you are 8 hitting a mob but you are doing more damage with your last hit you would actually be getting more stats per mob by having less att. How that sort of makes sense.

So, if it works like that then, the way to go is test each mob with 0, 1 or 2 Str. rings and see which leaves the most health left before the last hit that kills it (usually).
You'd need to test several mobs ofc due to how random hits are to see which is best. |

I was under the impression that no matter how much hp is left on the mob when it’s last hot you still gain the 2.0 bonus? As mentioned you could simply get the mob to 1hp on your main and 1 hit it using the super noob!

I was just stating that for normal leveling the use of str rings may not be positive for stat gains based on how much hp you are leaving the mob on.
