"CARNAGE""CYROX"As i stated, i play both roles. Have been an avid pker as well as not. Im posting from an unbias position. I think its cowardly to pk, go devil, then quickly regain moral within an hour so there is no chance for retaliation from someone who does not wish to lose moral. Simple system really. On one hand i personally agree. I have my own pk list who i would enjoy pkin or love to retaliate against one day. However, the whole moral system on esoma side from a roleplaying point of view, is good vs evil. The system is designed for the good to attack the evil without losing moral. To have a system where the bad cannot be attacked just doesnt make sense. I'm not one for roleplaying, but im using the phrase to explain the ideas behind the system. I thought the esoma system worked almost perfectly, so im struggling to see why we have to run anything differently here.

I can see your point and where you're coming from but in certain places I disagree, there's ALWAYS a chance for relaliation mate no matter the moral. It's just the person has made a choice that thier blue name matters more to them than gaining revenge.
Personally if someone was to pk me or whatever and at that time they're devil moral and the next time i see them they're moral+ I'm still going after revenge regardless I'm not going to let it slide just because they're not devil anymore but that's just me.[/quote]

Times have changed, this isn't esoma and these days you will have someone gladly spend 10 hours of their day following you around hitting your mobs and calling you out, pk them and then what? They revive and 'lol'.

That isn't an issue with the moral system though.

They revive and 'lol'. Not relevant to this subject really. Plus that has been stated against the rules and is a bannable offence. Times haven't changed, as we are all here playing a 15year old game. It was obviously that good that we are all hooked again, so original system will work just fine ;]

It is directly related to the morale system and will be exacerbated by these changes.

It is not against the rules, or many of my loyal fans would have been banned already.

No one says it is esoma however it is kind of similar and a natural reaction to compare it.
Moral is gained too quickly. Half of the people doing the pking do so because they know moral is inconsequential. |

My point is that there is already no reason to pk, so why make it worse for those that do? At least it gives some people something to do other than grind.

Plenty of reason to pk someone regardless of resi price or what they "lose"
It will say Fujitora slayed Garpthenoob on player feed and obvoiusly some people dont want to see their name on the feed. So much so that some people duel others to to fill up their profile to remove it lol. Got a pm from someone the other day saying, guess who i just killed, see feed. It gives you bragging rights that you killed someone. So no it isnt quite "already no reason to pk" someone. Obviously some people don't care about this and die repeatedly, but that's still a non issue, that will always happen, always has and always will.

Think about it Ace, you can mob steal someone until they leave, no morale loss, same outcome. In my mind that is far worse than someone having the decency to go grey on you.

"PLUM"Think about it Ace, you can mob steal someone until they leave, no morale loss, same outcome. In my mind that is far worse than someone having the decency to go grey on you. There are rules that are put in place that are meant to prevent people harassing you to such an extreme extent. There are no rules whatsoever that prevent you from harassing people out of boss monsters. The current pathetic moral system exacerbates that problem.

I understand you want to sound clever by trying to parrot my words, but people can still harass others at boss spawns regardless of the moral system. If someone chooses to bring 10 resis then you can force someone to devil if they want to kill you at a boss spawn. Even at warban that's gonna take you a good while to replenish, whilst you endure the pain of wasting %.
