This has been discussed in other threads a bit but I can't find another thread on this topic. Just throwing a few ideas out as the nightmare situation could become a nightmare (see what it did their) if a few small changes aren't made.
At the moment vod spawn can hold 4 people maximum , even with this number you often find yourselves waiting round and having to race to claim each mob, abias spawn could probably hold 2-3 at an absolute push wit a lot more running round in comparison to the vod spawn As a lot of people are going down the int route nms are getting more and more packed each week, vod spawn in the day is perfect with 2 people and abias with 2. I suggest perhaps increasing the number of nightmares through the abias spawn and also reducing their respawn time, and with the vod spawn i feel their are enough mobs but their respawn time could also just be reduced , meaning less waiting round and chasing after each mob as you know another will spawn quite soon These are just some ideas, i would like to hear other peoples thoughts on it and also other suggestions as to how it could be improved without means of adding an aditional spawn (conti) Please don't turn this into a flame thread as I'm in eq as well

A conti nightmare spawn would perhaps be an idea. Would reduce congestion at the current spawns, provide an optio for anyone who was getting chased away from a spawn and would also give some of the big hitters an excuse to try and win wotw.

Ah I hadn't though about conti spawn being an incentive to win wotw for higher people, don't know where they could go on the map though

Would be a much better idea to actually give people a stronger alternative to Nightmare than pretend people should be hunting them for 70 int.

Was mentioned somewhere that a new int mob certainly wont be added until level cap is raised.

Yeah I remember isy mentioning no new mob would be added which is why I mentioned improvements to the current spawns rather than a whole new mob

NM's on conti would be an awsome idea, it'd give the higher levels a reason to hunt on conti once they've surpassed LB weapons

Would be nice to see a blue post on this to see wether gms would be willing to make a few changes to both spawns, as their will soon be more at nms and it will be impossible to hunt, and unlike melee their are no alternative mobs that can really be hunted 110+

No changes at all required to VOD spawn, regularly find myself hunting there alone or with 1 other person and the amount of mobs available is plenty, it can just about hold 4 people with a bit of running during busy times.
Abais nm spawn could be increased / condensed a bit though. Dont think I would ever bother hunting in conti even if there was a spawn available, others might though.

Not really Sorc.
Fuji & Garp have so much upgraded magic items. I doubt they would risk them on Conti. So int is much faster on our own maps because they can risk them. |
