has anyone else noticed that crafting weps with top tier mats increases the dmg by a few numbers but greatly decreases the dura by a large amount at the same time
but if you were to craft with low grade mats you get decreased attack by a small amount but far greater durability doesnt seem worth it to craft with top mats when the dura wont be as good as when you craft with poor grade mats especially if crafting apus bows they are already at so much of a low dura compared to other weps any top crafters got any input on this? cheers

few examples with some hardened ones i made
first is with all higher quality mats used [Hardened] projectcraft Attack : 29~45 Weight : 8 Durability : 1941 Speed : D(1100) Req. Dex : 85 Req. Skill : 129 2nd with all low grade quality mats used [Hardened] projectcraft Attack : 29~44 Weight : 8 Durability : 2704 Speed : D(1100) Req. Dex : 85 Req. Skill : 129 dura is far greater but 1 less dmg is there any point to using top mats or just use low ones and pray for decent tags? dont see much point wasting time farming for alt gems for so many high mats to just get a 1-2 dmg increase at the cost of an included massive dura loss as the end result 1st one high quality mats [Rare] projectcraft Attack : 31~44 Weight : 9 Durability : 2247 Speed : D(1045) Req. Dex : 85 Req. Skill : 129 2nd one low quality mats [Rare] projectcraft Attack : 32~44 Weight : 9 Durability : 3134 Speed : D(1078) Req. Dex : 85 Req. Skill : 129 is it complete pot luck then? whatever mat you use can have a chance to produce a shoddy wep? other day i crafted an epic with 53 max dmg and 3.4k dura using all low grade mats whats the point of using high grade mats? doesnt seem to work for me anyway cheers

The high grade mats are dropped by whelps which are pretty easy to get hold of small quantities. If it’s not essential to have high dura to hunt and you only use it for pvp / bossed it’s well worth using high end mats.

Also such things like skele jewels add dura to items when crafted. So if you use high end mats and want the dura add a skele jewel ;)
