"BOOS_"Mr_Perfect has been banned for his actions in this which seems reasonable. I cannot express in words how much I agree with this, it's basically everything I wanted to say on the matter, I also want to point out one thing, Mr_perfect has been banned.. yes... but what's to say the player controlling that char is not back multing acaelus or whatever equi character he has come from? He's hardly lost out, he just lost a character he acquired and can carry on with a pat on the back from his equi buddies. "they are getting away with murder (Infact even profiting from it)" this cannot be stressed anymore and is unjust.

Are those who logged into chinese characters without permission and illicilty obtained their login details by use of keylogging or through Mr_P (XKF / Evilprince) and took items / griefed their characters also going to receive punishments?
They may have multi'd or shared accounts but being keylogged is slightly different to that. It's not someone who played the accounts who messed them up, its an external person.
Just for example, its like saying im going to walk down the road and stab this person because he shot my brother. The justice system doesnt work like that and two wrongs dont make a right.
As much as you can point the blame at the Chinese, the people who did the griefing, are equally as bad if not worse and right now they are getting away with murder (Infact even profiting from it).
Perhaps people should stop feeling so sorry for the chinese as STYLE and LEO all played with the chinese in an internet cafe, one day.. mr style and mr leo didn't turn up, all passwords were changed and accounts were stolen.. Never wonder why they all pretty much disappeared at once and only 3 of the chinese were contactable about the accounts?
Leo had me change the password for Zaq! haha! I was willingly given the passwords to CEO and LEO, twice for CEO infact. The rest I accumulated after I learnt of his plan to take them all.
Anyways, CEO (one of) was planning a coup yesterday, to take all the accounts for himself and sell for $ as he was moving to another Soma in China.
Glad the chinese arn't getting their items back as to be honest they didn't belong to style/leo/ceo, they were accumulated from the accounts they received.
I'm also sorry to mr_perfect (Marlon) - a casualty in this who has had his character banned.
No doubt openthedoor (as style doesn't level..)/luther are begging the chinese for their characters on QQ, if they already haven't been given them so expect to see ceo_008,leo running around soon again.
Last post from me, thought I should clear a few things up rather than let it go on and on - I've been punished from iSylver and accept the punishment.
Lets stop referring to this as mr_perfect's fault, I'm just a multi and in effect he has paid the ultimate price for my actions, which I've apologised to him for profusely.
I'd also like to point out that, honestly, the chinese didn't have much at all and everything of worth pretty much other than crafting materials was on the account that iSylver banned, despite whatever rumours Openthedoor is spreading such as 400 frogs, 20 eggpiles etc. But its perfectly fine for ceo_008 to change all the passwords to the accounts and sell them for $, nobody mentions that. And no I haven't gone back to leveling anyone, level 13 and going strong right now, Good moral and everything. Lock this thread, I've already cleared most of this up in a page back. "HANK""BOOS_"Mr_Perfect has been banned for his actions in this which seems reasonable.

"ZYZZ"Did you guys not read this? And you clearly didnt read what I wrote. Regardless of how it was taken, it was taken against their will. I was discussing the people who did the griefing. I'm just saying regardless of if CEO was trying to sell the account or not, even if the chinese were speedhacking, one hitting monsters, magically upgrading their weapons to +8, it doesnt justify someone griefeing their characters and getting away with it. Two wrongs dont make a right.

LUTHER |
A moral dilemma:
A man leaves his parked car window open whilst going to the shop. On his return, he finds his car ransacked and destroyed. The police, investigating the matter, find the original thief and he is jailed. They do not compensate the man, fairly, because after all it was his fault for leaving the car window open. Upon further investigation, they see that once the thief had left the scene, he called upon a group of ransackers who saw that the car had been robbed and who then took the opportunity to vandalise the car, destroying its components completely, leaving it broken beyond repair. Should the group too be punished for their part? Or should they instead go unpunished, because after all, the man had left his property so vulnerable, and it was not them who has broken into the car in the first place..

"CARNAGE"Not really much to discuss, it's over. Quite the contrary, there is plenty to discuss. Regardless of the situation, it's a shame its come to this, and can only mean the game is going to lose a few players, whether you got on with them or not, thats still a loss for the game. I dont care about Luther's car, but he still makes a valid point and I hope some kind of fair punishment is issued to whoever the culprits are (To discourage them from doing it again, as well as warning others that it is not acceptable behaviour), they are profiting at the expense of others and as well as the game on a whole.

I said it to Style, and i'll say it here to stop ridiculous posts about thefts of cars.
They are lucky it was this "Dan" fella. If it was someone who was motivated by more than soma, he could have taken bank details, email accounts, work stuff, anything he wanted. They should be counting their lucky stars that they only lost some soma items and not anything a lot more serious. As for everything else, its all just rumors. I very much doubt the story about an internet cafe purely because of how easily a soma ID can be recovered. This thread should have been locked after the first post like a few people said.

I'm pretty sure Dan sorted the issue the best he could considering the whole view on being a multi etc hence why this topic was most likely made in the first place to inform people of the situation and action taken, seem to be a few thinking they're backseat gms though.
