armour defence is always the same on every piece u craft no matter what mats u use unless its plate or displacer or you get a tagged

That is not exactly correct as I have crafted hardened / rare / epic and Intense Armour

he means you can craft a untagged dagger for 1~2 or 1~3 attack but armor is the same def , only changes when taged

I believe crafting skill gives a percentual increase, so it just takes a little longer to get for armor.

"GHOSTLORD"I believe crafting skill gives a percentual increase, so it just takes a little longer to get for armor. Only on weaps, armour gives nothing unless you get a tagged. Only plate and displace works like weapons |

the only way to get increased D/F on armours is to add bones :)

"RELINA"8 untaged banded helms all 2~4 Remember that it's all about skill you have vs skill required to make the item. If you have 5 skill more than needed for banded, it's no wonder they will all be the same. On the other hand shoes are so low defence it'll take until 80 or 100 or whatever skill to notice the effect in defence. This is how I remember it worked on esoma: Skill gave a maximum of 1-1 extra Better materials gave a maximum of 1-1 extra. Add them together and you get 2-2 more (would love to hear Finito about this).

It's %age based.
Armour, per item, have lower values and as such have a smaller (and at lower tier armours no) increase in stats. |
