ID In use / Connection unavailable

Not to confuse the original post but I sometimes when swapping chars login and no one is moving and brics are stood still. It’s almost as though my connection to the back end database was fine and initial load of TYT is fine but the connection has also died without erroring?

its client side that fox. client doesnt recognise server packets. but u can move and be seen moving by others

This just happened again when I was in merc town so I logged on a nub and sure enough Hogan was still stood where I Lagged out.
Even though he disappeared when I tried to log in for the first time it still won't let me log in.... Same errors. |

I'd be interested to know, if, when you see someone elses character screen - are the owners of that account also trying to login? Or are they already in game. Or neither?
Start noting the times down and pm the people in question :) |

Just lets you see there stats. I've not tried to delete but Fin said its not possible. I've seen a few level 100+ just not bothered to screenshot.
Just sucks that it doesn't let me log in for sometime 45 minutes. |

its a buffering bug that displays the stats that should hopefully be fixed soon but it doesnt allow u to login or delete anything

Have you managed to replicate it on any other account?
If its something with your account as nobody else seems to be getting it, maybe they could move your char to a different account? |

i've replicated it by taking ethernetout and back in and dc the account.
login to acc quickly and u get a bank screen. create a char and it will show u a *random* char (likely last to login) |

It's happened on alts. It happens after my char has already lagged out then I get the I'D IN USE. then I log in again and get the no character screen and can make a new char to see someone else's stats. Then I try to log in again and get connection to the server unavailable.... I then get stuck in a loop of ID in use then connection unavailable for 30-60 minutes.

Ohhhhh ok, I've had the blank screen a couple times of late but never tried to create a char, always got straight back in on next try though
