PvP 'Seasons'

After each new expansion. There is a new PVP season.

Each season lasts for 3 months. So if we assume GMs will release something significant yearly, there is 4 seasons.

Make the season value points for K/D ratio over anything else.
(Widen immunity window from 30 minutes to 2 hours for sake of everyone else)

Make rewards be a unique weapon or armor set that is no better than anything in game but has a totally unique look, as bragging rights. Cannot be upgraded, untradable and once the season ends, that play holds the items. Once new season starts, those items are deleted from game and replaced by certificate maybe. Their season win just held on the website only.

Make K/D ratio as a highly visible statistic on the website

Fixes OTT PKing on casuals. Lessons hostility as it takes some effort to maintain one sided wars / pking. Protecting the PvE community.
Offers a definite reward to capped players that isn't instant and takes time. Keeping them going.
Encourages team play to maximise kills and minimise deaths.
2 hour immunity window makes easy targets, not so easy. Those who can or want to fight back, can.

Over time, create a Guild 'Dominance' score system that combines RvR and GVW wins (not derived just from Wins but also getting on stone even). So theres two tiers of end game play

Also over time, change measuring of PK to just /duels? Bulid up and out the /duel function as I think evolving PK in this way isn't cool in the long long term

Awesome idea I think as well maybe make it so you can't pk anyone 10 levels below you max 15 unless they are engaged in active pvp or healing/curing someone who is.

Imagine this with a transmog system in the future so you could swap the skin of your uber reward wep to your +8 beast.

I could see the seasons idea bringing in a lot of players.

Idea is ok, I like some aspects of it.

Agree with Hogan that level difference needs to be reduced to 10, at lower levels it's not such a big deal, but later on, it really is.
