Scaling the UI

Is there a way we could test the scaling changes for you? Its hard to tell any graphical difference in the pictures as they are not clickable/zoomable. Which to me is successful anyway.

Otherwise, looks good to me :) Hopefully not too pixelated.

They should be.

Here is a slider comparison of without and with the interpolation and sharpen (but not done this yet).

"FINITO"So have the up scaling working except for an issue with the mouse cursor that still trying to sort out .

Game render at 800x600 up-scaled to screen resolution 1680x1050

Unfortunately NVIDIA drivers don't use any kind of hardware filtering on the up scale.

Here is what it could look like with Linear interpolation on the scaling and a sharpen pass:

Wow, you work so fast. That's looking great so far! Some filtering would definitely be nice, but I guess getting it functional first would be more important.

I guess the issues with the mouse cursor are to do with the fact that the mouse cursor position is no longer where the game expects it to be? I'm just assuming here, but you could just apply an inverse scale to the mouse x/y? Although, I'm guessing you already know that and the tricky bit is to get that new algorithm playing nicely with everything else XD
