possible pk change/addition

perhaps another way would be removing the 2pk rule and change it for this:

player A wants to go about pk'n

player A attacks player B at vod blg

Player B dies and then warps (player B gets flagged as cant be pk'd in other maps for 1 hour)
**This is to enforce the changing spawns rule""

IF player B goes back to vod they can still be pk'd in this map.
Leaving it upto player B if they wish to risk PK and go back to vod blg or goto abais blg for an hour of pk free hunting. this was thought of to stop potential grief. so no'one could complain to a gm about pk as they can goto another map for pk free hunt for a period of time. if they get attacked in abias. they can warp and goto vod.

This could be a much better way around the current pk dilemma that people go on about.

This effectively allows all open pk BUT enforces the following from spawn to spawn rule.

OR

reducing pk range to 5/10

increasing pk from 2-4

increase cooldown to 1 hour

i also added in suggestions where people can risk having no pk cooldown for higher reward from hunting.
so if you do get killed alot you chose it urself by opting for better drops and no protection.

How about if anyone kills a player more than 10 levels lower than them it removes a kill from their k/d ratio.

Some mobs are just not huntable in other maps for example;

palus
devilfish
hoarde


The list goes on, but the main one being Hoarde which most if not all characters will need to hunt at some point for stats.

Therefore i suggest reducing pk range to 5 levels

Or use unused space in abias merc dungeon 2 for a cyc and hoarde spawn.

I love the dungeon, me and Canish leveled all the way to 55 ish str in the dungeon when the server first opened :D

Not been a fan of the 2 pk rule, as is never give 2 free kills just for 30 mins peace

Lower the pvp lvls to 5 or 10 would be good imo, as currently 20 lvls is to high

The main problem I see is the fact u can't hide anymore, dsoma all linked by a warp npc, so it's easy for someone to just warp to each map and trace

Id persnaly like trace user removed, least then you could move mobs and get a bit of peace and quiet till your discover

Soma needs more dungeons where u can't warp to then u could hide in there for awile

combo of all/some of these ideas would be good.

Agree on the trace thing, should also remove the ability to be /pos'd if chosen so by the user to.

People who spout "but esoma" need to realise this isn't dsoma and we aren't teens anymore.
