Everything looks great on the screen graphically and I don't think anything is wrong,
but after looking at a couple of other players screenshots I've noticed they can see a good inch more of the map on a larger screen. Anybody know how to fix this? Cheers. |

Indeed you can! Go to your soma folder (where you installed it) and open somadevlauncher.ini you can change the resolution there.

I was playing at 1920x1080 on my monitor but everything was too small and items/players/monsters didn'trender on most of the screen.

It depends on the size of your screen and whether you play full screen of window mode. I myself want to keep access to IRC and the forums so I use 1280 x 768 on a 1440 x 900 screen.

I play full screen 1280 x 720 on a 1600x900 screen. I tried using 1600x900 and it crashed as soon as I stepped outside of town.
It's nice to not have the black bars along the side of the screen and you can see a bit further so can give you an advantage when you are out hunting, because you can see mobs that would be off the standard sized screen. However, if there are stuff on the floor they don't render until they are just off the area that would be seen on the default resolution.
