So I know you have it on your kanban board (GMs) to open up Pande. Town and remove all the bridges and lava and make it a navigable town but it probably hasn't been done because its seen as a large job and you're already considering moving NPCS, and maybe even buildings the disjointed area for weapon auras.
Anyway can I propose you approach this on a phased basis to make it simpler and easier to implement 1) Make land and no more lava amongst buildings. Nothing more, just open up the town. Keep the bridge to the rest of Pande for now. Just remove all the lava lines. We can forgive open, empty spaces, it needs to be done to make the starting location nicer for anyone trying or that may come back to Dsoma. 2) Building / NPC shuffle 3) Last minute changes / 2nd bridge to western Pande maybe ? At least by doing 1) It'll be a lot easier then to redesign NPCS and building locations and visualise it all.
