BASIL |
Just seen the post made by isylver, and instead of posting to many questions in there is start afresh thread.
I really like this idea and always asked about it. Does this now mean that now you know how to link up Sspecials to weapons we could maybe link up auras to weapons?? So a weapon that might do 5th sword in a 5% chance?? Will we see slow and poison ?? Basil.

I'd imagine icy touch is a slowing effect and on isylvers armoury a few days ago he had a knuckle with 3% poison touch on it.
Praying for a confuse effect on a weapon xox |

I would have thought icy touch was like para (being frozen)
Vampire touch or leech life would be nice |

I hope none of these additions emulate the effects of auras. As an axe user I would be annoyed if other classes got a para effect even of it was chance on hit. Slowing on the other hand would be excellent.

I've got a list (private eyes only for now) with ideas for sspecials, I'll add any that I like from this thread.

Again, not knowing how easy any of this is to introduce.. But....
Assuming confuse, blind, weaken, poison ect ect are all counted for. 1) Upgrade that reduces the time until you can use an Aura again. 2) Upgrade for a weapon that has a % chance to cast a spell

I'd love to see spells with effects
Fire attack with chance to burn the target over time Ice attack with chance to freeze a target reducing run speed Nature attack with chance to root target to the spot Maybe even extending blue magic into types with this, and giving white black some special also

"RELINA"I'd love to see spells with effects This ^ Simply because adding spell effects onto melee weapons marginalises the magic counterpart.

With the weapons status, could this only be upgraded by having 100+/130+ weapon skill
The same with armour and access, have a 5% chance that blue/black/white would automatically be removed with 100/130 armour skill, the same could be used with access but different buffs. Just an idea as at the moment because there's no reason to get 100 armour as even intense displacer is useless because bone has more defense then it and the evasion is useless, not to mention both weapon/access are both a lot quicker to skill up. Numbers are just random but hopefully you get the idea, would also give more of a reason to get specific crafts, rather than just the ones that are quick for skill

As a run on from this,
I'd like to see the spell poison have more use. Maybe have it that someone's run speed is slowed by 20% if they are poisoned. Or something interesting. Right now it's just a forgotten spell. |

"OPENTHEDOOR"As a run on from this, It was buffed, but it can still be removed by one of the most over powered spells in the game, cure. Make cure only be able to remove a status effect per level Level 1 - 1 status cure at a time up to level 3 spells Level 2 - 2 status cure at a time up to level 3 spells Level 3 - 2 status cure at a time up to level 4 spells Level 4 - 3 status cure at a time up to level 4 spells Random numbers, but an idea
