Should be in Advisor Hall, but nevermind...
Is it confirmed that EVERY item is able to be upgraded? I know that certain items are conventionally popular to be used to upgrade with certain tabs etc. such as magic earring with CT and Warps with CT, but what would happen if I used a CT on an Earring of Ghost? It has 3~3 magic attack, would it go 5~3, or 5~5, or even reset it to 2~2? Reason I ask is that (before it was implemented), I used an Occultist Emblem on a Vortex Earring, and rather than add the MD to the total of the MD on the Vortex, it reset it to 2~2. I was wondering what would happen if I used something on a critical Magic earring? Would a +23~33 (13%) become an upgrade with a POD and stack like it does with armour, or reset? and same with Melee equivalents... Would an upgrade on an str/attack/def on a less popular, yet still viable accessory be simply reset, because its not the "done thing" to upgrade it? (mainly want to know if I would risk wasting a POD on the Crit. Magic Earring, after a horrifying experience of losing an Occultist Emblem :D) Thaaaaaaaaaanks :D

I have always thought that a item with several 'special' attributes ... can not be upgraded. So Earring of Ghost cannot be, RoF, RoKs cant either.... And an upgrade will just overwrite all of it. If there were weapons or armors with multiple 'special' attributes, the same would apply
I doubt POD will work on Crit Magical Earring for a different reason though. Hope to be surprised by someone who says you can.

it is possible to allow upgrading of multi stat items. but it would require a bit of work todo.
basically fill the 2nd special table with each variation of a multi stat item upgraded. then using extension change the sopt to the required number to the new desired set stats if upgrade is successful. saves having to extend item data etc as thats alot more work having them seperated

in a word... dont
it will over-write it, anything (%) based isnt upgradable, the upgrade works but over-writes its orignal properties (exception being proc but that only stacks on same proc stuff) anything with multiple additions is over-written to be the one you upgraded as cya has written the 'popular' ones are that because they work and are best use of the upgrades

I'm pretty sure that someone upgraded a critical melee earing, and the **~** increased but the % stayed the same.

Considering KE is now 2~2 adding +10~10 on an Intense Critical Melee Earing at +5 would be sweet!
Shame they so rare. |

Would it be good to propose PODs being able to stack onto crit earrings as a viable upgrade, you think? (Increasing attack and percent proc).
Or KE/CT to increase attack and remain 13%? As there is rarity in them actually dropping, shouldn't be too OP for increasing proc too, as the risk of breaking is higher to lose everything without a backup? Just an idea

"ISELIX"Considering KE is now 2~2 adding +10~10 on an Intense Critical Melee Earing at +5 would be sweet! If you think about it it's actually a really raw deal. You gain essentially 1.3 extra attack average as crit ear is 13%. Better to upgrade a WBS to 12-18.

Well a POD worked to no effect on a Crit Magic Earring, so I doubt a KE or CT would work anyway - they're far to valuable to use on a 13% fixed thing anyway, compared to a POD. Be good to have a POD effect on both melee and magic type though, where the proc % is increased per +1 though...
