Obviously the full game on a mobile phone wouldnt work but it would be great to be able to craft on a soma mobile phone app while I was at work and maybe warp to town to buy mats. Or even just to use the PM system to chat to people who are online.

This would be awesome, who knows how to make apps though lol. I'm sure its expensive and the GMs would have to start charging us for something, everything is free for us at the moment

A craft app would be great. Maybe even a notes thingy where you can calculate mats needed for an entire set.
I like the idea of the community making apps for soma. I know Sylver nor finito have the time for it. |

an IOS,Android, web based app would be great for soma but it would take a serious amount of funding/time to do so.

Has anyone started looking into this yet, another possible feature for the app would be the ability to auction/trade through the app

Talking £500 just to publish it to the apple market :P If i was in yours/finitos position right now, id start looking into cosmetic premium features to add to the game. *EG* That new UI you made, new hair styles, or even effects on say arrows fired out of bows (give them a firey glow). Adding little premium shit like that could just charge £1.00 for, people would pay just to fund you guys.

Android ftw.
Problem is that for an app to be of any use it would need access to the database so the only people who could safely make it dont have time so its not gona happen |

Someone could download the server files, generate the app based on that then Send the source to the important people to approve and apply the relevant settings
