Despite the fact I would benefit from this. It would be too OP for humans. Can't comment on devils though.
An insta weak and "unwaterable" aura would get my vote. |

Could be a negative effect added to it such as when active instead of mp spell cost is hp.

I like the idea but I think it sounds way op in your suggested form. If monster, lazarus, s0rc all popped the aura you suggest at the same time surely they cud kill any player in game without using weaken? (or atleast any devil). I think rather then give them 100% evasion for their aura it would be better to give them say 80% and on a longer cd. I'm not even sure that wouldn't be op Tbh. I would definitely like to see mages able to cast more, but if they get to free cast then they gonna be pvp kings.

Counter argument to that though Rambo is imagine if slayer alucard and 187 all 4thd at the same time they would kill anyone in game. But larger cooldown could be good say 1 minute. Keep the suggestions coming bear in mind 10 seconds of not being interrupted they can still be owned in that time not many people would stand and free cast and live to tell the tale.

i think the perfect aura for a mage to prevent OP but make them fun is something like...
2nd aura, but with like what shamans used to have on WoW but inverted. everytime you get hit, you gain an 'orb' and when you have 4 orbs you can use an instant cast spell. makes damage incoming have an outgoing effect.

I'd like to see a 150/160 skill aura for mages that works the same way as perfect defence currently does. Give a % of Int as MA. Say 10/15% so at 100 int you'd get 10 or 15ma.

HP equal to the MP spent during your free cast period could be lost in one lump after the time is up? Or simply increased damage taken whilst it's up for a "glass-cannon" effect could help balance it? As a side note on mage auras, does anyone else think that 2nd could be made more useful with a buff, or a new aura as a buffed version of it? Maybe increased cast speed or a small damage bonus in addition to the current (or a bit more, I don't know) evasion? That might serve as a good substitute for when you don't think its safe to cast the proposed glass-cannon 4th. Just purely thinking of DSoma and what I see at GVW here, not really considering anything else.

I'm def up for mages getting something new (can only comment from a dsoma perspective.)
I quite like the idea of the uninterrupted cast, but i could foresee some major problems with it - not in a war situation though, more from a pk standpoint. I think there'd have to be some kind of debuff along with it like for the duration of the skill, your rooted to the spot. As an alternate angle to look at.. how about a mage ranged skill as opposed to a spell? Essentialy 4th bow but magic damage - uninterruptible single hit with a 15s cooldown or similar. Somethin to think about.

So either your next cast or 2-3 seconds with longish CD. Like Quimm said, maybe a 5th staff aura or 160 skill, by that time you are certainly a proper mage!

Uncurable weaken etc. - 4th aura
