I've noticed that since the increase in crafting rates more people are crafting .
However even though the amount of mats is less to get sr is less the demand is more than the supply in certain mats . If you craft for accessories there is only one option .. Copper Weapon leather plus metal for daggers or wood for bows. Amour is leather and linen . For players with limited time , getting materials is also very limited . The richer high level player such as myself can afford to craft at a loss . But for lower levels bag weight is also an additional hinderance . Is it time to have no limit on buying mats in order to level out this problem ?or at least increase restocks as done previously on d soma ....

It’s been said there are alternatives to the restocks - that being the farm.
The amount of threads made about this are crazy. If you don’t manage to get mats on a particular day go and hunt and try again. You are all moaning because you’re not able to to just craft in one bulk - but soma was never designed to be easy so stop asking for it to be made into a spoon feed fest.

0-194 skill I never had any trouble collecting enough mats to craft with, if it was ever busy I knew I could go at a less busy time to get them, even during the times the gm's made it double rates weekends etc, but this crafting rates is now permanent 24/7 and lots of players are after mats all day long, this demand has been created by the gm's not by the players. There simply isn't enough mats to go around all the crafters.
You mention the farm as an alternate place to get mats, don't make me laugh, the farm is a joke. Must be great in your little bubble of a world, one client to hunt, one client to collect mats, one client to craft, not everyone has multiple clients, not everyone plays 24/7, many players are lucky to get a few hour per day, per week, they just want to be able to craft and not waste there precious time trying to collect enough mats for an hours crafting. Before you come back at me I'm nearly done, but unlike you I'm thinking of the rest of the community that don't get the chance to play 24/7 like some on here.

I’m only tell you what Isylver himself told me - his reply was “there is the farm for mats” so basically all these pleas for more mats are wasted.
I’m not saying I don’t want everyone to be able to progress but there is no reason at all people can’t have two clients running even on an old pc or laptop. So that is a non issue - it just requires a little effort to level it for a few days. Also if people didn’t want to purely craft and they did half their time burning rested then crafting it would help. You’re making out people can’t do it all, they can... just not full time like they would maybe wish. I didn’t ask to be off work for such a long period of time with some terrible pain but it’s happened and I’m managing my time on soma effectively to suit what I need / what I can do. If other did the same with the time they had on soma this wouldn’t be an issue!!!

No need to justify why you play so much soma.
So how are players new to crafting meant to get mats? Freemode leocrots in TYT for 2 hours to craft for 20 minutes? If a new player to the game is unable to effectively engage in the games crafting mechanic which currently it is impossible to do. (you can engage in the mechanic just not effectively) It clearly needs addressing. It seems as if everyone in the community except for Tyrese can see this. The change needed just like the recent con change doesn't mean spoon feeding it just means balancing.

IMO the game at this stage needs to ease up on the grind, make it so players feel rewarded for the ammount of hours you put in.
+1 on unlimted mats |

I can see both sides to this.
I waited for the ad hoc restocks (none-Time 1) today and didn't really have to fight for matts. That changed somewhat as the day went into the late afternoon and evening (GMT) To me... this was what it was like in Esoma or even worse... and I think its a good thing. People use to chat whilst waiting for restocks etc. When you ran out of matts, you just either waited for more or went hunting or logged off. On the flip side... maybe that's just not how people want it to be anymore. The matt shortage is a only temporary problem (right?). Without splitting demographics up, I can completely understand why Raven feels the way he does given the level of craft skill he is on but others? I don't know about that. Back then the unemployed, part timers, single parents, sick people had the means to take advantage but we all just had to suck it up whether a part of that or not. Maybe there should be a new DQ that gives you a token to buy a refill of a personal matt NPC

I never crafted, ever. Got to 70 Acc 50 Wep 70 Arm on x2 weekend, and left it there. Now crafting x2 I thought I would have a crack again and now I have 130 Acc and 70 Wep/Arm.
Nice and simple, relatively easy. I had the benefit of massive bagweight a ton of cash and friendly people to help me with copper. That being said, for the sake of sanity, the amount of materials available needs to be increased. 8k Copper at T1 then 6k Copper every 50mins after the first random restock isn't enough to go around. Wood is even smaller amounts. GM - great idea, to bring people back to the game. Sorry to be the one to let you know, it worked? Now give those people a chance to get cracking. The only reason they're annoyed is because they can't.
