Wis requirement - negamare weaps

Can we please look into removing or reducing the wis requirement on negamare weaps.

I strongly believe it will help the community if we know our new weaps does not require nerfing our melee stats even further.

I understand the thinking behind adding wis requirements to weaps but in dsoma we do not want to nerf our stats even further... we go through hours of hunting to make 1 level for 6 stat points of which there are restrictions to how many points to put on dex, con, str (usually 2,2,2 or 2,1,2).

As a spear losing 21 point on str, dex, con to just wear a new sexy weap will be tough..

Can we not find a different solution to the wis problem? having buffs auras?
OE IMO are amazing and we are able to improve our magic defense and our survivability with this.
As a temp solution a lot of dsoma have 2 characters 1 for rvr/against mages and other melee for gvw and this I think most of us are happy with this.

Clever wording rather than just saying rolling archer as a second char ;p

Has anyone managed to work out what number of stats need to be sacrificed for each weap at cap?
I ask because I probably wrongly assumed it was most for archer down to least for axe based around 'spare' stat points

I would agree 20+ of anyone's main stats lost is rather steep
Specially considering how hsoma can cap with more str than 3?dsoma classes so surely that isnt a balancing issue rvr side?

+1 remove the wis requirement.

The weaps are not good enough to justify it. You ideally need an intense to even consider taking the hit on your stats. And even then, you need to upgrade it to compete with your current weap dps. Until now dsoma has had the same top end weps since day one so it's no surprise everyone's on high roll intense +5's which hugely overlap the atk range of the new tier of weaps.

Given how rare they are, having to respec to equip means most would only do it when they have a weap upgraded to the ideal state, so we're barely gonna see anyone with these weaps apart from mages imo.

And axe I would guess at, mainly because 2h axes dont get speed upgrades but yes I'm not sure we will see many used
