I am currently hunting at WBM in Hwan, I had heard notoriously that the ones in Hwan have a terrible drop rate compared to that of the ones inn Conti.
At the time of writing this I have currently killed around 1.3k WBM. I have yet to have a single weapon drop and wondered if this was normal or perhaps broken? I have had various other drops (tons of headgear haha) but surely I should have had at least 1 weapon drop by now? Can anyone shed some light on whether this is normal or needs to be looked at.

Oh brutal they just simply don't drop them at all!! Well that at least explains it, that's pretty lame though I have a long old hunt here haha

Do people think they should drop weapons? Does seem a bit mad that I am about to spend hours levelling at a fairly high level with no chance of weapon drops? Or should I simply be going to KL for weapons?

It’s absolutely insane that they don’t drop weapons more like. All drop files were merged a while back. I don’t understand why this wasn’t the case for dsoma too.
The only mob on hsoma which is a duplicate which drops something. Different to it’s counter part is NM with horror eyes. Imagine if vod / abias nm didn’t drop frogs? People can’t progress / trade without WBM miner dropping weaps from HWAN unless like you say you don’t increase stats and stay at KL but that’s not exactly fun nor is it how the game should work imo.

Kl weapons,
Wbm were historically very quick % but they were much harder back then, or as 90% of dsoma does just log off and wait for devs to win conti back to get conti spawn as its 100x better and drop weaps too That's why folk were asking for a condensed spawn area in hwan, would keep a higher constant usercount dsoma side too imo

I guess I could do daily at WBM then go KL to mix it up for a chance of weapons. Or just hold out at WBM for that chance of a ruby.
Yeah I know most of my guild only go to WBM when we win conti which is incentive for RVR which is never a bad thing. |

You shouldn’t have to hunt the mob down or wait a week to obtain weapons though.
Nothing Hsoma side works that way now. It’s a broken system imo. |

Hunt KL until around lvl 95, don't raise your str above 191 until you move from KL, then go tark/apai/dd in rotation for dailies.
