Weapon Transfer Skill NPC

This needs to happen imo, I know it's been said before.

But weapon skilling is grind and isn't fun, This would encourage more people to use new weapons.

NPC that lets you transfer the skill for, lets say 1-2mill ?

Or make it so some pointless upgrades are worth while maybe like

Large jade per 50 ?

6X NPC (Bow Expert) ( Knuckle Expert) etc etc... could be in a house in TYT or something.

Buy 1x Skill swap token from donation store for £5 / £10 whatever.

If i have 200 bow skill and want to trade it to 200 sword, i take my token to the Bow Expert, and select i want Sword skill. He does this for me and takes my token.

I have saved 4-5 days of skilling, server has made £10 out of me.
Winners all round .. right?

Just no, I think you have it too easy with switching weapons at will as it is, if people were locked into a class or it was much harder to reskill it might make them consider other weapons to start with rather than everyone being carbon copies of bow/axe to just swap at the end, 3 days of half afk skilling in the safety of town is stupidly easy anyway

We're all here for fun, If we don't have fun whilst we do something we tend not to want to do it again.

For example this is one of my reasons not levelling my other character because i'd need to re-skill and it's too time consuming. If you don't have 200 skill i can understand but all we're doing is transferring those points from one wep to another. For example a game i used to play Knight Online - For 100k you could completely reset your skills and stats.

We all know bow/axe is the most used in hsoma due to bow's range and axe's 5th stone.

I like the idea of it being a donation it

Of course everyone entitled to their opinion this is just mine :P

its more of some people could get every 5th aura and jus insta switch weaps depending on whether tey go gvw or pk or hunting

maybe make it a high cost and so you can only do it once a month or something

Leave it completely as it is. I understand you need fun etc while playing but 3-4days of watching tv clucking a new mob every two mins isn’t a drain.

A lot of things in soma have become easy, let’s not make everything easy.

I'm inclined to say no or at least say its the wrong solution. Skilling a weapon is part and parcel of levelling up a character.

Is changing weapon at level level 90+ a bit of a chore? Yes but it isn't at level 30 or 50. And that is because people are still progressing fast.

I think people forget that skilling a weapon is also a way of breaking your grind up just as much as it can add to it and can be a welcome distraction.

On aside note, I think Soma is designed to make you somewhat commit to a weapon by the very fact its slow. Hsoma wasnt meant to have someone using BWA and 24 hours later be using a spear + bow. I think it'd ruin the fun even more for the people that selected less popular weapons, spear and sword.

I think adding a donation item called time of (insert wep skill hear) that gives u a set amount of xp in that wep skill would be nice

It really shouldn't be necessary at every single cap raise to reskill your weapon because you want the most str by using an axe

In other games you have to buy some kind of respec token to reset skills. Either with real money or ingame currency. I like the idea, even though I never really respect ;P

There should be consequences to choosing a weapon class.

Allowing an instant switch removes these consequences.

All this will do is make it easier for people to create 'perfect' build characters, nothing else.

Plus it really doesn't take that long to reskill a weapon class in the grand scheme of things...
