Over the last week or so I have found that more often than not, my pc locks and I have to cont alt del out.
This appears to be triggered by opening the quests window for the 1st time after logging on. this can then happen 2 - 3 more times in a row then just stops doing it and back to normal until the next time I log on.

Try defrag your hdd or run soma from an ssd.

a defrag (from 9%) seems to have solved the problem :P - Thankyou!

No problem at all chap. Invest in an ssd....it will actually change your life.... 128gb ones are peanuts now as well.
