I personally see this as something you want due to playing Maverick now and being heavily reliant on using that swanky axe of yours to pvp / 5th people with. So I would say leave it as it is, atleast have an element of skill left to pvp still. If you run up to someone and your cool down hasn’t worn off then tough you’ve timed it wrong and need to brush up on your skills.
I don’t see any issues with auras as they are for PVE / PVP. So leave them alone imo.

You sound a bit salty for some reason Tyrese.
It's a quality of life improvement. I don't know any famous / decent mmorpg / moba that do not have a cooldown counter, it's literally a must have. Soma was made nearly 20 years ago and like I said I think it was rather rushed too, there are so many little things that you could add to the game and make it so much user friendly for the community that if the developers of soma actually sat down to talk about what to implement to the game I am sure one of their developers would have come up with a cd timer. Other things that would make the game better. 1. Being able to accept daily quests from ctrl J screen 2. Use of In-game Auction House that works for Barru 3. Spell indicator for all of the condition spells (Weaken/Blind/Slow/Zombie/Confuse/Poison/Dispel/giggle) 4. Devil Moral players cannot do dailys or gain rested - So why not allow them to gain rested @Gypsy and add a devil version of Dohwan to Gypsy too 5. Friends list. 6. A Transmog for arm/weps to add uniqueness to everybodys look 7. Increase Dismantling to give a decent amount of mats in return and a chance of frog/ll/herbs 8. Allow Crafters to /upradeon just like /repairon to allow them to upgrade players gear on the go. So while I come up with good Ideas for the game / community (which includes you) Tyrese you just sit there and moan about your personal issues with them thanks ^_^ Also thank you Viskah for helping me come up with some of these ideas :D

While I dont think its needed, could make the selection box around the aura change colour when its on/off cooldown like precasting. Might please all sides in that skill is still there, timing when its back up as there is no clock, while also saving time being wasted for people that want to know its ready, as they can see the square is green or whatever. Might make gm's life easier just changing the colour too rather than adding a clock or fade effect to the aura icon.

@qiang yeah I agree if clock is too much work / not needed then just having an indicator if it's on or off is also a great idea

Great idea!
As a newbie, this was one of the first things I thought about when I recently came back to the game. It would be nice. |

I’m not salty at all o.O I’ve explained why I think it’s not needed. You only want this for pvp purposes, imagine how boring it would be if all you did was run until your stone came active and then fought when the other person was paralysed. But if you mistimed it and ran in and nothing happened then it makes for far more interesting pvp. I’ve stood and fought you several times while you use maverick and hardly ran even when I know your stone is coming. So this isn’t a salty reply this is a constructive reply mainly aimed at mass pvp where if you mistime a stone vs 5-6-7 enemies you’ll die and it’s all about learning your timings.
If I was salty I’d have been rude and said something like “you’re a one trick pony who relies on your stone because you are shit with 0 dex and get ruined by people with dex”. Learn to interpret things as they are said, not to how you want them to sound.

Just use the Mage Macro it auto right clicks constantly, including auras.
You can literally scroll through Weaken - DB and 4th bow with 1 finger in one fell swoop using the mouse scroll wheel. Everyone should use it tbh, scrolling through f5 to f8 with one finger and having it auto activate is priceless.

@Nite
No it’s not a “must have”, it’s just something you want because you’re too thick to time your auras. Stop comparing Soma to these “famous” mmo’s. This is Soma, a 20 year old game with two GM’s which have very limited time to put into the game. Stop requesting things that don’t need implementing when the GM’s could put time into more important things.
