Hey guys, I just found out about Soma and I remember this game being incredibly awesome from years back. I will stick here and play, but it seems really hard to know what to do right now, especially when most players seem to be very experienced. Any tips for a new player who can't remember much of the game other than the fact it's incredibly fun? Any kind of answer or help would be very kind and appreciated.

Tips:

1. You want to make money. Best way to make money is to start crafting daggers. I know its boring but gets you the money you need for HP and MP potions you need to hunt. (I could give you a bit of money so you dont have to go through this boring process)

2. Pick up a training weapon from the blacksmith in TYT and just go hunt. Up to you what you pick ^_^. I started out with knuckle but I regretted it. If idd recommend picking up a training axe and a training bow :). Those are the str and dex weapons.

tho saying that, most stuff low end is craftable on hsoma, and theres always someone that will do it for free :D

Thanks a lot guys, my name in game is ClouD7 in Human World. I really appreciate all the help offered. I would like to farm the stuff for myself, at least at the very beginning. I remember it being doable back then (I believe it was 2002/3), but I don't really remember how crafting works.
I thought of Axe as weapon of choice, axes are cool. It's also nice that CON has been changed a now scales with level retroactively. Farming CON with a new character was a bit frustrating back then.
