Ok so over the last 2 weeks or so i've really gotten "bored" of soma yet i want to play... sorry if that doesn't make sense it does in my head is there any advice on how too keep motivated i log on every day still.. but i slack BIG TIME which then makes me feel more bored a im falling behind everyone even more than what i already was.

Try get yourself in a guild , so you have people to chat to while your hunting , the new vent will help with that also.
Maybe set your self goals , like sham armour by end of the week somthing like that |

Soma isn't that involved when you are comfortably killing the same mobs over and over. I recommend joining the vent and getting to know some of the rest of us. Most of Eq have stuck on through the slower days because if it.
You could also try watching things whilst you play, that should take you off stat watch.

Don't watch stats when you play, watch tv, get a guild, do anything to watch stats. I try to never look at my stats when i'm levelling

I normally watch a series or some films. But due to a lack of another screen at the moment, I'm taking a break. Can't play it otherwise, the grind is too much lol.

I used to play window mode even on my laptop so i could watch stuff while playing. Currently i dont play enough to need it. :P

with window mode you can now also level 2 chars at the same time, makes grinding less boring :)
and ofcourse watching other stuff (tele eg) when playing soma, join an active guild for chat |
