Totally stupid also that a class that you have 0 different ways of leveling and is a 1 path pony that needs all your levels is not allowed to damage the new top boss Just level a dex char and pick up a spear at cap if you wanna kill nega |

Tbh you should work as a team. Make alliances and kill. In dsoma my guild kill it and share weps with people who attend and need. If we had some mages. They would be staffed up the eye balls by now too =D.

My bad, not much of a morning person. Put in a less negative way - if Nega was actually feasible for mages I would probably still log on to do it myself, rather than the current situation where I haven’t logged in about a month.
I still wouldn’t level as I think Wasps drops are trash and the XP is arguably worse, but it’d give me some sort of purpose to log in nonetheless, currently Nega’s MD isn’t just a little bit too high, it is far too high. Pokehim I have no idea who you are as you have posted off a store char (dunno why people insist on doing this) but mage’s don’t wanna go and tank, then rely on handouts from people who feel sorry for us not standing a chance of actually ever getting a kill on Nega ourselves, there is also a very nice reward for the Nega quest which one mage has claimed in like 3 months or however long Nega has been out for.

Rather than guessing and it taking ages for us to figure out if changes are adequate to level the playing field (as much as possible, I’m aware there are limitations) would it be an idea/possibility to fire up the test server and run through some potential changes repeatedly to get to the bottom of this issue?
I’d definitely be willing to spare some time to help test as I’m sure all/most of the other mages would, and I bet the less selfish melee players wouldn’t mind either, if this issue was sorted it would actually be quite a game-changer as I love the concept of Nega, just hate how it’s turned out for my class (borderline pointless).
