[quote="KOBRA"][quote="SUBXERO"]Incrase drop rates x2
Increase healing int x4 (gives people incentive to work on new chars)
Add greater dt/rdt/tow to mags +2 stat gain.
Add hard nega weps drop to mags
X 4 mats in abias store
If news that like spread accross the lands of soma i can see a lot coming back.
Anything less like 20% incrase in drops i dont think is enough

Another +1 to increased drop rates/tweak I'm due to cap soon and I feel myself already logging in less as the time invested so far has been a lot (personally) but beneficial I.e. lvling the char up, but I cant see myself on much to "farm".
Hopefully not taken as negative as I still enjoy the game but there is always room for improvement and incentive to bring more of the usercount back :)

If it gives people who have next to no gear and are more casual players a better shot at making some nice stuff, then who really cares if the rich get richer? Bar the 2 stat tabs I think everything Sub suggested would be positive for the server overall.

What i said will actually nullify the china/multis as there is only so much you can upgrade and it will give other players a much better chance at being competitive and make decent items
Once an items is +8 its +8 so just give players more chance to make it rather than only the 12-16 hour a day people You want to bring all past players back...people who quit because like 95% of them say they cant commit 8 houra day and its to grindy All my suggestions will bring old players back, encouraged people to make 100 int healed chars and incrase the economy massively = more players

We've had levelling rates increased several times, so I think an increase to drop rates across the board is a good idea.
I don't think it'll be hard to implement either? GMs have enabled double drop rates before. Why not make it a permanent thing? |

You said that you get a large diamond in 12-14 hours on a good day?
Maybe that was a figure of speech but either way the gist of your post was clearly people should just excessively grind with little reward which I disagree with. |

Both sides need do with an item swap NPC, especially Dsoma where the economy is non-existent.
e.g Put in 1x/2x/1x+barr hard sword get out 1x hard bow. Put in 1x/2x/1x+barr hard helms get out 1x hard pads. Swap one upgrade for another at equal value or slight cost/barr, value of items to be decided on via a vote on forum held by GM. This will stop people sitting on piles of unwanted items, give people more of what they want/need, promote more trading and improve the economy.

Something drastic like Subxero has mentioned or not much point I don’t think.
I am back playing Albion because of “casual” friendly patches and updates. Also playing a lot of Apex. The thought of grinding again for weeks to lose it all in 5 mins at the anvil is putting me and a fair few of the people I used to play with off. I wouldn’t promise people would come back, but with a decent update the question would be asked. The more the server bleeds players the worse it’s gonna be. The fact Lupi doesn’t even want to play speaks volumes. Must have 20k hours and capped 5 chars. If you can’t keep him interested no hope for the rest.

Anvil needs a rework:
If an upgrade fails then it doesnt break, you still get +1 but no speed or stat gains. So everyone can make +8 weps, the recoil will jsut vary depending on how lucky or unlucky you are. Cap weapons to +5 when a new tier of weapons comes out (Its too late for Nega weps since theres quite a few +8 already)

In Esoma... I felt drops were just super rare... so I really just forgot about them and just levelled... out of repetition.
Here... I got to a point (and completed a main goal of getting level 100) of having a reasonable amoutn of upgrade items and a few upgraded weps/armors/access but I cannot now go down the path of just using it all to probably walk away empty handed. It seems better to try and trade up for ready made items than lose it all but with the UC, that isnt really possible now.

My own personal view is that I have never had trouble farming for items, drops seem reasonable rate. The biggest obstacle a player faces is the anvil. I have had many conversations with lupi and I would say we have the same views on the subject.
You spend your time levelling, farming all the time, which is time consuming at best for a lot of players and you collect all the loot, mob after mob, level after level, to then precede to try your hand at upgrading at the anvil. To watch it vanish in seconds is deflating to say the least, now couple that with time spent gaining the craft skill like 200 at the old craft rates to then see that at times you have less success than when you had 100 is hard to take especially when in reality the crafters skill at best has absolutely no bearing on the success of the upgrade and it all comes down to the flip of a coin, 50-50 win or lose, success or fail the rng that destroys so many players will to continue. If the anvil/upgrading was improved to reflect crafters skill you would see more players in game, more players would bring more items for trading, more drops in game, the game would be more alive just from this improvement alone.

I see why raven is saying and makes sense, one of two things need to happen, drops need to be upped a lot or anvil has a success relating to skill. I’m more for having more drops and keeping anvil like it is. I prefer getting drops and happily hunt wearing 3+ parts...
