Although in Esoma there was retribution in the form of leo circle griefing if you really had a vendetta.
Anyway, levelling was so slow back then, it was a milestone to get to level 30. If you wanted to be a PKer at below 50 you was in for a bit of pain. "Street justice" was always gonna get you. Interesting to think that most pkers in Esoma were mages or those with 4th sword or something.

Ignorant responses.
When a player does not attack (if they do, then they lose immunity for 24 hours) after 4+ kills over an hour period, it is pretty clear there is no intention to engage, having the ability to opt out until powerful enough, or heck, in the mood to fight back, would be a good option. Some of us, I would assume some new players too, play an hour or two a day but to get hunted each and every freaking time is just boring. If we are comparing to e soma then we don't need GMs, be grateful they let you click once to hit a mob! Anyway it is pretty clear nothing will happen so enjoy the double xp and so on :-)

Why does it bother you so much? Take your deaths and continue, it’s not the end of the world.
People can stop me hunting any time they want due to the fact I won’t ever take immunity, you don’t see me crying about it on the forum constantly, asking for PK to be disabled etc do you? The GM’s won’t listen because it’s one person’s opinion vs basically the entire server on the other side of the fence lol. You could say repeatedly talking about how immunity is it too short and saying in a condescending tone that ‘it’s pretty clear nothing will happen’ is ignorant in itself.

How about an opt in opt out of PK from when you start...
That way we all know where we stand and no more crying. Then Dan can put PK how it use to be none of this 2 kill immunity stuff. |
