Could actually make disassemble something useful, rather than just a novelty as nobody uses it at the moment, ever.
The higher the tag and the reqs for the wep, the higher the more items it could give. Also the higher the skill the more items you should get, i've done a breakdown below of a rough guide to see what you should get as the higher weps you should get a shit load more items to make it worthwhile disassembling rather then selling to someone. This rough guide can be passed over to all weps, just chose sword because it's the first one that came to mind. But could be implemented for hard and rare too, as well as armours. Epic dagger - 5 skele bones. 5 red metal plates Intense dagger - 10 skele bones, 10 red metal plates Epic Gladius - 15 skele bones 15, 20 red metal plates Intense Gladius - 25 skele bones, 10 lizman plates Epic Long Sword - 25 skele bones, 30 lizman plates Intense Long Sword - 50 skele bones, 50 lizman plates Epic Bastard Sword - 40 skele bones, 35 lizman plates Intense Bastard Sword - 65 skele bones, 55 lizman plates Epic Black Devil Sword -45 skele bones, 40 lizman plates Intense Black Devil Sword - 70 skele bones, 45 lizman plates Epic Five Star Sword - 80 skele bones, 60 lizman plates Intense Five Star Sword - 100 skele bones, 80 lizman plates Epic Moon Sword - 90 skele bones, 70 lizman plates Intense Moon Sword - 120 skele bones, 100 lizman plates Epic Raw Sword - 150 skele bones, 150 lizman plates Intense Raw Sword - 200 skele bones, 200 lizman plates Epic Knight Sword - 220 skele bones, 220 lizman plates Intense Knight Sword - 250 skele bones, 250 lizman plates

This would definately be something I'd like to change in the future. Same goes for smelting really.

Yeah they're both so unused and it'd allow people to turn useless junk that people will never buy into something worthwhile, could make it so the higher tiered weapons and armours if rare/epic tag can be smelted down or disassembled to give a chance of being a ruby (A decent % chance). Again, higher armour skill for armours and higher weps skill for weps should give a greater % chance, giving people more of a reason to get higher skill rather than just for SR

Although your hypothetical calculations above would be a bit over the top IMO. But then again, they are hypothetical :p |

An idea I've had it to make all the conti weps Disassemble into a unique group of materials which are used to craft all the conti tier weapons.
e.g Continental Wood / Metal / Leather etc (naming for demonstration) Pros: - Gives crafters something to play with further on into the game - Increases/maintains the need to hunt LB for weps (realistically people would only Disassemble untagged drops in large amounts in hope to craft a tagged weapon) - Point being, it doesn't decrease the need for LB as it would if they were craftable using normal mats. - Economy boost - all drops become worth something Cons: - Errr.. none?
