how does it suck ?
think its a good idea, stop ppl from losing stats and ruining a char, but think it could do with being caped at 100% and not 10%, and give more penalty per death I understand that it gives ppl 10% free exp to farm for items, but that's one person caped already and free to farm any mob

Nothing wrong with people being able to farm mobs for items

Keep in mind it also scales which I find quite nice.
i.e. 10% at a low level isnt much time but 10% at a high level is. It also alows people to reskill weapons without the constant worry of a looming cap. |

At best I would arguably say 2.5% a death is a bit harsh. But I also find people get used to things like this and it's a lot less harsh than before.

runs to pit, got killed twice 5% penalty....
next hunt runs to pit with 3 resis gets killed 3 times... 70k down and had to return back to town for more resi cause I'm not having a penalty again. I hate it but I'm sure it just grow on me. |

i think first death should only be 1% as a warning as 2.5% is ruthless :p

You could lose up to 3% per death with the old system. You also lost very few of any stats, meaning dying ultimately had a positive effect on your character. This new system is great. It prevents abuse.

I like and hate it all the same. I end up with 10% after 1st gorshak, and got 2.5% when I forgot to take my resies back out after crafting. good to keep you awake and not dying, bad because 10% penalty is HELL on earth!!

Sorry just preferred the old system, at least if u lost 3% and a stat, you had a chance to gain it back within that 3%.
But now if u get 2.5% penalty just after gaining a stat, you have to do 2.5% then say 5% for an stat making it 7.5% on rested and being a player that doesnt play all day. its abit of a shock to the system and put a downer towards playing, so i logged out. Anyway just have to get used to it

Res scrolls are key.
And that 2.5% back can be done quicker by farming mobs. |

"RAVER"Sorry just preferred the old system, at least if u lost 3% and a stat, you had a chance to gain it back within that 3%. Umm so you're basically saying you'd rather lose a stat just so you can gain it back? Ok.
