I had (and probably still do) have this problem, I think it went away in compatibility mode (in win 7 make soma run in xp via properties).
Do what I did, join DSoma :D |

Having to heal a lot of recent I've noticed similar but no disconnection messages. I think things have been made a lot worse since server got migrated.
Clients will randomly appear to stop updating. What I mean by that is the client appears to be in like a pause like condition as if the server is no longer talking back to the client. What is interesting is that when a client is in this state if you were to talk and check your other working client you can see in f12 that they are chatting. I will post a video when I can so fin can see what I mean. Something is definitely wrong and can't put my finger on it.

I have noticed this too, one client (usually the healing char) will stop updating and you cant alt f4 out of the game or anything, have to do it in task manager.

right click soma shortcut, go to properties... compatability, tick the box that says run in this compatability mode, and choose a different windows from the box

Video as promised
From the video you can see that over 40 minutes has esplased and the client is stuck where it was @ 22:02:04. As soon as you type in the client and press enter (i typed the current time) you can see it in the other client that is fully functional. https://streamable.com/br36x

If other clients can see your actions then still connected to the server and the issue is somehow the packet encryption has messed up for server to client communication. I will take a look and sort it.

This has been a problem for a very very long time. As long as it’s still healing I wasn’t that fussed when it was happening to me
