Ok so i was just joined into a party, who were hunting in VOD. I Set out from abias town as usual about just before i entered the valley straight, all the people of the party appeared. I assumed they was waiting for me, nobody was saying anything on chat or doing much. its only when i realized my heal wasn't working that i'd bugged, logged and of course when i logged back in they had told me they were in vod for like the last hour+

Oddly I had this the other day with a party of 3, in abias running to vod to join them and they all appeared just off screen from where I accepted the invite

this happens as when you join a party the players current location and info is added to playerlist table. it will update if you change maps or meet up with the person

Fringe, sounds like in the absence of the source code and adding more sanity checking or redoing the party code itself - You probably could write a SQL stored procedure to do a update on all parties within that table on a timer? Making it easier. Or a SQL trigger. I havn't seen the set up of a Soma server tbh.

it cant be done. without the users data being updated you cant have minimap with party locations.
