an idea for boss drops, attendance and general balance between causual and hardcore players

Everyone must agree the last hit kill or fastest finger first is a rubbish system for boss kills so here is my idea.

Each major boss has a repeatable quest attached to it.
It works like a damage bar you have to fill representing the HP of the boss.
Once you fill it you get a random drop for that mob or can select one of the weps rare + from that mobs drop file.
That way everyone gets rewarded for showing up and hitting the boss, the strongest still get to benefit from the higher damage they do and get more rewards.
Most importantly it will really boost the amount of people attending bosses :D
I really think this will Help with balance between the hardcore and the casual, resulting in more fun for all!

good idea, but think it would require some major work

think this could def do with doing also

even like RVR theres nothing for assist kills, so tends to be highest lvl gets all the kills and the rest get nothing so don't bother going in future

exactly why this needs to be looked at. I get why last hit was introduced to stop mob stealing but for bosses it doesn't do the server any good. infact its quite demoralizing
